What counts as a provider?

A provider is any licensed clinician with their own schedule, or any prescriber. On Programs, we count prescribers. Staff users are free and unlimited. Front desk, medical assistants, billers, office managers and estheticians without their own schedule cost nothing.

Do all plans include telehealth and e-prescribing?

Yes. Video visits, photo consults and native e-prescribing are included in every plan.

Is the AI Scribe really included?

Yes. The AI Scribe and InsightMD are free in every FlowEHR plan. If you only want the scribe alongside your current EHR, FlowEHR Scribe is $149 per provider per month.

What's the difference between Wellness, Derm and Plastic?

FlowEHR Derm adds the dermatology and surgical modules — Mohs and surgical documentation, 3D body mapping, biopsy logs and pathology routing. FlowEHR Plastic is the same engine at the same price, configured for surgical practices: pre-op through post-op documentation, before/after photo comparison and surgical quoting. FlowEHR Wellness has everything else both of them have, without the surgical modules.

Why is FlowEHR Plastic the same price as FlowEHR Derm?

Because it is the same platform underneath, configured differently. We price what the software costs to run, not what a specialty can bear — so a plastic surgery practice pays $599 per provider per month, exactly like a dermatology practice.

Do I need Insurance Billing?

Only if you submit claims to insurance. Cash-pay and out-of-network practices do not need it; superbills are included in every plan.

Will Insurance Billing replace my billing team?

It replaces your billing software and clearinghouse and automates eligibility checks, claim scrubbing and payment posting, so your biller gets more done. Someone still works denials and payer follow-up. If you would like us to handle that, ask about Billing Services.

Is telehealth extra?

No — telehealth is included in every plan. If you run an online subscription program with a patient panel, that is FlowEHR Programs, or the Programs add-on at $1.25 per active patient.

How does Programs pricing work?

$299 per prescriber per month includes 150 active patients. Each additional active patient is $1.25 per month.

Do you work with concierge or direct primary care practices?

Yes — they use FlowEHR Wellness, with the Programs add-on for memberships.

How many claims are included with Insurance Billing?

Up to 600 claims per provider per month, which covers normal volume for a full-time provider.

Are there other fees?

White-glove data migration and custom workflow setup quoted separately during onboarding. Optional usage-based services, such as patient ID verification, are billed per use only if you turn them on.

Can I pay month-to-month?

Yes, at +15%.
